Here at Con Daily, we regularly get press releases regarding law firms, and also about books. The legal ones occasionally give us something to write about, and the book ones always offer to send us a copy to review ...though we have to turn most of those down, because we wouldn't feel right taking a free book knowing that it has nothing to do with the subject matter of the site.
For some reason, several of these things are addressed to The Robot Pimp. We assume it's some lazy junior PR grunt (or a lazy junior PR grunt using a bot) that landed on one of Robot Pimp's articles, saw the general contact link, and then headed out the door for a two joint coffee break. No big deal.
When it comes from the marketing/PR arm of a major law firm like Morrison Foerster, ...well, it's still not a big deal. But, it is a bit more amusing:

Robot Pimp appreciates the mail, but the proper way to address it is either Mr. Pimp or Pimp, Mk. 2.
