Hold on to your golf clubs, folks, because things are heating up between Tiger Woods and his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman! The former couple is back in the news as Herman files a lawsuit against Woods over a non-disclosure agreement she claims she was forced to sign.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Herman is citing the Speak Out Act as she alleges the NDA was “invalid and unenforceable.” The suit also claims that the NDA was executed during her employment with Woods and that a trust controlled by him is enforceable against her. In other words, the tension between these two is at an all-time high.

Herman is seeking clarity from the court regarding what information she can and cannot disclose, including her own experiences, those of her family members, and information from sources other than Woods himself. This is a serious matter, as she believes she has legal claims to share.

But it’s not just the NDA that’s causing trouble. Herman is also invoking the Speak Out Act, which “prohibits the judicial enforceability of a nondisclosure clause or nondisparagement clause agreed to before a dispute arises involving sexual assault or sexual harassment in violation of federal, tribal, or state law.” This act was only recently signed into law in December 2022, so the timing of the lawsuit is particularly interesting.

Woods has not yet commented on the lawsuit, but if their past is any indication, this legal battle is far from over. The two started dating in 2017 when Herman was a restaurant manager at The Woods Jupiter in Florida. They were last seen together at the 2022 U.S. Open, but it’s unclear when they officially called it quits.

One thing’s for sure: this is one golf game that’s not going to end with a handshake and a pat on the back.
