A well-liked, popular physical education teacher in Minnesota, Lindsey Schneeberger, 24, has been taken into custody under allegations of improper sexual conduct involving a teenage female student and the use of sex toys. Schneeberger now faces three counts of criminal behavior with the student, who is currently aged 14.
Detectives indicate that the girl was only 13 when the Pine Island teacher reportedly initiated the inappropriate contact. The police have reported that the teenager identified certain “sexual items” located at Schneeberger’s home, some of which were allegedly involved in their unauthorized meetings.
The investigation into Schneeberger began after the student’s mother found troubling messages from the teacher on her daughter’s phone. The detectives on the case believe these text exchanges suggest an improper relationship between the two.
The teenager informed the police that the teacher had been grooming her for several months, commencing in August 2022. By March, the student stated, Schneeberger began subjecting her to weekly sexual assaults.
Additionally, it is alleged that Schneeberger sent personal x-rated images of herself to the student. She is currently not employed by the school board and is detained with bail set at $75,000.
